The Rockfish

The Rockfish is a restaurant in Virginia Beach, Virginia that I had a chance to stop by while I was in the area over the weekend to see a 1964 the Tribute show (the Rockfish was right across from where the show was too). As you probably already guessed, the Rockfish serves seafood. But who cares about the food, right? It has quite a bit of unique Beatles memorabilia in it -- paintings, posters, guitars of John's, Paul's, and George's, Ringo's drumsticks, and more.

That's one of the paintings, and there were sets of autographed drumsticks from other bands nearby it. Didn't manage to get a picture of those, but I did get one of Ringo's sticks.

And that's one of the guitars that was on display. It belonged to John.

Ringo's drumsticks. I think he autographed them. It's a little hard to tell because of the reflection on the case.

The poster for the Beatles' Shea Stadium show, autographed by Sid Bernstein.

I think that was one of George's guitars.

Yet another of the guitars on display. That one also belonged to John.

The poster for the Candlestick Park show in 1966, which was the year the Beatles decided to stop touring.

That isn't even all the stuff they had in there. The restaurant's menus were very Yellow Submarine, and they had several other guitars on display. It's great. If you're ever in Virginia Beach, you'll definitely want to go to the Rockfish.
