As you can see by the title, Cynthia's main focus in this book is her life with John. She covers it all, from when she met him at art college when she was eighteen, to after they divorced and his relationship with Yoko. Since Cynthia was quiet and kept out of the spotlight for so long, it's interesting to hear the story of John's life from her point of view.
She also talks more in depth about John's relationship with Julian and reveals new stories. It's a good read for any John fans that want a better understanding of his personality and relationships with those in his family and the Beatles circle of friends.
Tony Bramwell has had an exciting life and has many interesting and sometimes humorous stories to offer about the Beatles and other big names that he's met.
Bramwell knew the boys who would become the Beatles during his childhood. He grew up with them and went on to work for them, promoting their records, touring with them, and making films of them.
Magical Mystery Tours is a delightful and intriguing book, and as I read it I learned many new things about the Beatles. Others mentioned in the book that Bramwell met are the Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix, the Who, Bruce Springsteen, and Jack Nicholson, but the list doesn't stop there.
This book has a lot of new information, and I would recommend it to any Beatles fan, particularly those who don't know much about the Beatles' history.
